Thank you so much.
I would be lost with out Boox.
Thanks for the new release
Just a minor glitch, not that it bothers me much but just to let you know.
Whenever you reload the feeds and it finds new unread feeds, boox's "mark as read" wont work on these particular new found feeds until the next session (after you restart firefox).
I feel like i wasn't clear enough on my previous post.
What i meant is that if it had already looked for feeds in a live bookmark, and found them, and if later on in the same session, you reload said live bookmarks or it just finds new feeds, those won't work with "mark as read".
In conclusion, it isn't letting you use "mark as read" in a live bookmark more then once in the same session.
Once again, doesn't bother me much, just to let you know.
Interesting...

"We were able to mark 3,890 add-ons as compatible with Firefox 5. There were 256 that failed our automatic scanners either due to including binary components or using navigator.language, which was changed in Firefox 5. All affected add-on authors received an email about the compatibility update and instructions depending on whether they passed or failed."
@nightbeholder
grmbl... I have not this problem myself. Do you use the Native History or the Boox one (in the Boox preferences) ?
@SilverWave
Yes, thank you, I have seen this page. And I've received an email saying that Boox 3.0 passes the test. (But i have not test myself yet)
It's funny because this is the opposite behavior compared to some years ago, doesn't allow to easily bump the maxVersion to not crash the end user...
using boox history. also tested with all other addons disabled.
check live bookmark, finds unread feeds, click mark as
read, works fine. check the same live bookmark some minutes later, finds new feeds, click mark as read, nothing happens.
It appears subscription page, but not the different style sheets with the option of marking as read, etc. Can you fix it, please?
@Paco
This should work...
Try to uninstall Boox, quit Firefox, open it again, install Boox again, and restart Firefox.
Let me know if it works ;) .
Well, I tried many times and still doesn't work. What else can I do? Thx
I could fix it at last. It was a problem in my navegator. Thx for your work!
@Paco
Fine! (I suppose that you had a corrupt profile)
please support for firefox 5!!!
Will you work on it soon?
Thanks and soooo great add-on!!
ye, same request here, downgraded back to 4 after seeing boox wasnt working with it. cant have firefox without boox...
fredurbans and h, you can reinstall the extension :) , now compatible with Firefox 5 (simple bump version)
many thx :) (i miss being able to disablie the addons compatibility check)
Interesting...
Would using the SDK reduce your workload maintaining Boox?

"How does the Add-ons SDK fit in?
With the most recent update to Firefox we also made the first official release of the new add-ons SDK available. These are tools designed to make developing add-ons for Firefox easier and faster and they largely serve as an add-ons API sitting between the add-on and Firefox with one difference, the API is actually a part of the add-on so you can actually write your own additional APIs to supplement those in the core SDK.
Add-ons written with the SDK (and only using the core APIs) gain a lot of the benefits of add-ons for other browsers. The APIs in the SDK can be far more stable than those in the browser itself, as the browser code changes the internal SDK code can adapt to match allowing add-ons to work just by rebuilding with the newer SDK. This makes the problem of Firefox updates much smaller for those that can move their add-ons to the SDK.
I don’t foresee a future where the only add-ons are SDK based though. We’d lose too many really important add-ons that way so the SDK doesn’t completely solve the problem."

Oh and Boox works fine with FF5
http://www.oxymoronical.com/blog/20...
i had completely forgotten about https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi... -.-
works perfectly unless "Add-ons rely on internal functions, if we make a change to one then it breaks the add-on." is the issue...
@SilverWave
oups, sorry, I've just publish one of your comment (my antispam seems a bit sensitive :D).
Unfortunatly, it's impossible to develop Boox with the sdk.

Oh that's a shame :-(
I am just concerned regarding the new FF fast release being every 6 weeks in future (8weeks for ff6).
Well... they are apparently doing more testing of Add-ons to help to keep the breakage to a minimum... so here's hoping!
Hopefully they wont make any changes that affect Boox ;-)
Bonjour.
@Piteur
réessaie, çà devrait fonctionner maintenant (si ce n'est pas le cas, préviens moi ;).
Explication: oui l'extension est compatible, celle hébergée chez mozilla est "marquée" comme telle, celle chez moi ne l'était pas encore...
I cannot seem to resolve a conflict between Boox and the Diigo toolbar. Are there any solutions?
Thanks.
If I disable Diigo, Boox works perfectly. Can they be made to work together?
Great addon but stopped to work in Firefox 13.0
Hi,
thanks for this great plugin, but I had to
deactivate it in firefox 13 because my
RSS-Feeds did not work anymore in firefox.
Could you have a look at this??
Thanks
Anton
@Petr Vones and Anton
Yes, Boox is broken with Firefox 13. I have to rewrite a big part of the extension.
See this post. Sorry for the delay...
